Boarding Australia is proud to announce the details of the 2016 Study Tour, held in conjunction with the New Zealand Boarding Schools Association (NZBSA) Conference.
The Study Tour commences in Christchurch on Monday 30 May, with site visits to some unique boarding settings such as Christchurch Girls High School, Medbury School, Waihi Preparatory School and Timaru Boys.
Upon arrival in Queenstown, Boarding Australia delegates will attend the NZBSA Conference “Guiding Future Leaders.” The conference will focus on the following themes and topics:
- Promoting leadership in boarding staff and students
- Student wellbeing
- Lockdown and safety procedures
A range of high profile speakers will be presenting at the conference, including Dr Paul Wood, who turned his life around after being jailed for murder as an 18 year old, and Sam Johnson, Young New Zealander of the Year for 2012. All Black and mental health advocate Sir John Kirwan will also be presenting.
